\tMatric Certificate\/ Grade 12;\u00a0
\n\tA degree \/ NQF level 8 in Nursing Administration or Health Service management;\u00a0
\n\tBasic Nursing Diploma or equivalent at NQF level 6 accredited with the Nursing Council plus Diploma in Clinical Nursing Science, Health Assessment Treatment and Care at Care at NQF level 7;\u00a0
\n\tProof of registration with the South African Nursing Council.\u00a0
\n\t8 years\u2019 experience working with the National Priority Programme, of which 4 years or more must be at the middle management level in a Primary Health care setting;
\n\t5 years of managerial experience in Quality Assurance and Health Promotion \/ Health Programme;\u00a0
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Primary Function:<\/p>\n
\tLead, manage, develop, coordinate, implement, monitor and evaluate District Health Systems (DHS) Priorities, i.e National Health Insurance (NHI), Quality Assurance, Health Promotion \/ Social mobilisation, including Ward Based PHC Outreach programme in the City of Johannesburg.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\tProvide the direction, planning, support and leadership with respect;\u00a0
\n\tLead the directorate Services Delivery and Budget implementation Planning (SDBIP) process;\u00a0
\n\tLead the Sub-directorate’s financial planning and budget process;\u00a0
\n\tLead and facilitate Sub Sub-directorate Performance Management planning process;\u00a0
\n\tLead and manage the development of the Sub-directorate’s individual Learning Plans (ILPs) process;\u00a0
\n\tEnsure effective and efficient sub-directorate functions, processes, procedures, systems and policies;\u00a0
\n\tLeading the Recruitment, Selection & Placement process for the sourcing of suitably qualified staff for the directorates;\u00a0
\n\tProvide sound leadership for the achievement of the directorate’s objectives;\u00a0
\n\tDirect the delivery of the District Health Systems Quality Assurance Citizen Mobilisation Services;\u00a0
\n\tEnsure effective Sub-directorate Financial Resource control;\u00a0
\n\tEnsure effective Directorate Assets management and control;\u00a0
\n\tImplement good governance and effective risk management systems;\u00a0
\n\tEnsure effective control of the Sub-directorate\u2019s Human Resources;\u00a0
