KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES<\/p>\n
\tManage all translations and production sessions.\u00a0
\n\tBrief and follow up with the translators and copywriters to ensure brief and deadline are met.
\n\tConceptualise scripts when required.
\n\tApproval of scripts from Production Coordinator \/ Assistant or Client \/ Translators.
\n\tActive involvement in producing radio, video entertainment commercials.
\n\tRecommend voice artist as per client requirements.
\n\tManage Post-Production by ensuring production files are updated with production control forms fully completed as per the production session.
\n\tAttend daily office status meetings.
\n\tAttend pre & postproduction meetings as and when required.
\n\tManage the Production and directing of all production sessions.
\n\tDetermine time estimates for each production for booking and quotations purposes.
\n\tDirect production to meet clients\u2019 approved needs.
\n\tPrepare and conduct client workshops\/presentations to maximize revenue for RAP.
\n\tEnsure all scripts meet ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) regulations.
\n\tMonitor Standard Operating Procedures for the unit.
\n\tMonitor internal control measures to ensure good governance aligned with relevant legislation and policies.
\n\tForward final translations to clients on receiving signed approval as and when required.
\n\tBriefing client, voice artist, and engineers with regards to the script.
\n\tAttend workshops\/client functions.
\n\tConducting auditions to develop new talent.
\n\tEstablish networks and relationships with key decision-makers.<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tNational Diploma (NQF 6) in Advertising \/ Communications \/ Marketing or relevant qualification
\n\t3-5 years of Radio, Video, and Digital Media production experience
\n\tKnowledge of the media broadcasting industry and through-the-line planning
\n\tProject management
\n\tPersuasion and negotiations skills
\n\tPFMA and relevant national treasury regulations
\n\tExcellent knowledge and understanding of the advertising industry, trends and developments, and SABC brands.
\n\tUnderstanding of applicable legislative frameworks and regulations.
\n\tKnowledge of the different African languages and cultures
\n\tKnowledge of the ASA Code of Advertising Practice
\n\tGood time Management and planning skills
\n\tAbility to work under pressure.<\/p>\n
