\tResponsible for management of payables cycle, financial and admin department of VKB Milling as well as reporting on financial results.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tB-Com degree with Accountancy
\n\tCompleted articles (SAIPA or SAICA)
\n\tAbility to function independently within team context and to accept responsibility
\n\tStrong analytical, numeracy and interpersonal skills
\n\tExcellent computer skills and the ability to work with excel on an advanced level
\n\tExperience with Caseware and Microsoft Dynamics NAV will be advantageous
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license
\n\tWillingness to travel<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tAnalysing and reporting on management accounts on a monthly basis to management
\n\tMonitor and manage cash flow within the budget
\n\tReviewing of creditor reconciliations
\n\tCompile audit file and liaising with internal and external auditors
\n\tCompile annual financial statements and monthly management statements
\n\tControlling and approval of journals, purchase orders and EFT\u2019s on a daily basis
\n\tIdentifying and advising on departmental solutions with regards to systems, controls and legislative requirements on a continuous basis
\n\tEnsure that operational and financial information is given through relevant, accurate and timeously
\n\tEnsuring VAT is Accurately calculated and submitted in time
\n\tContinuous liaising with internal departments, clients and suppliers with regards to relevant transactions and services<\/p>\n
