\tRCL FOODS is looking for an energetic individual to join the finance team in the role as a Debtors Clerk. The successful candidate will need to manage credit exposure, maintain and reconcile the Debtors Ledger, be resposible for invoicing and issuing credits to the customer\/clients, reconcile and prepare debtors statement and initiate follow up procedures for unpaid accounts.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0
\nEducation and Qualification<\/p>\n
\tMatric
\n\t3-4 years experince in a credit control enviroment as a debtors clerk
\n\tProficient in MS Excel
\n\tPrevious experince of JDE or an ERP system advantageous<\/p>\n
Skills<\/p>\n
\tLogical thinking
\n\tExcellent written and verbal communication
\n\tFluent in english
\n\tAttention to detail
\n\tStrong routine administrative skills
\n\tProblem solving skills<\/p>\n
Duties & Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tDebtors and Administration
\n\tPerform period ending procedures and adjustments
\n\tRun preliminary reports
\n\tPerform reconciliations
\n\tPerform report analysis
\n\tReceive electronic payments, post customer payments on system
\n\tPerform cash application to outstanding invoices
\n\tMonitor unapplied cash accounts
\n\tSend statement to customers, track payment due dates
\n\tContact customer for late payments, escalate late payment issue to management
\n\tEnsure that all generated credit notes are attached to the actual claims, resolve claim issue
\n\tProcess credit notes, discounts, rebates
\n\tOpen new customer account on JDE for supplier and drivers
\n\tObtain and copy claims where no credit has been passed, claims to be sent to relevant depots
\n\tClaim tracker to be completed, no claims to age beyaon 30 days<\/p>\n
