\tSantam Operations Commercial Contact Centre have career opportunities available for Insurance Sales Consultants based in Cape Town, (Bellville) or Johannesburg.
\n\tThe insurance sales consultant role is focused on providing an end- to-end service and support to brokers whilst achieving sales targets in a commercial contact centre environment.<\/p>\n
Duties and responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tConsistently meeting sales targets.
\n\tContribution to the net profit and growth targets for business.
\n\tDelivering exceptional service that exceeds customers\u2019 expectations through proactive, innovative, and appropriate solutions.
\n\tProviding telephonic \/ email support to the intermediary on record, authorised representatives from the brokerage, and broker services.
\n\tAnalysing the request from the intermediary and providing a quotation to secure the business (conversion).
\n\tInitiating out dials to intermediaries to discuss quotations and \/ or convert policies.
\n\tNew business issuance.
\n\tAssisting to resolve all insurance queries within required timeframe and compliance requirements.
\n\tAssisting in implementing solutions for improvement.
\n\tAdhering to workforce management principles to ensure that we optimize productivity.
\n\tPrioritise own workflow and ensure work in completed to the required standards of productivity, quality, and timelines.
\n\tManaging client expectation on expected turnaround times for submitted requests;
\n\tAdhering to underwriting criteria and regional requirements.
\n\tAssist with profiling the client with the best suitable product and underwriting criteria;<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 1-3 years\u2019 experience within an insurance (commercial lines) sales contact centre.
\n\tMatric
\n\tMinimum 60 Commercial Lines Short-term Insurance credits
\n\tRelevant insurance related qualification (NQF 5) would be beneficial
\n\tCompliance with FAIS Fit and Proper criteria i.e. minimum experience and competency requirements
\n\tSolid sales track record.
\n\tConsistent target achievement
\n\tSolid out-bound call centre sales experience and skills
\n\tClear record of accomplishment in terms of adherence to quality standards and compliance<\/p>\n
