\tClear Criminal record.
\n\tShall be registered with Statutory Body, SACPCMP, as Safety Officer.
\n\tMinimum 5 Years experience as SACPCMP as a Safety Officer in the construction industry.
\n\tMinimum of 5 Years experience as Safety Officer on ESKOM Sites.
\n\tA recognized safety certification (minimum: of 2 weeks training) (e.g. SAMTRAC \/ Modern SHEQ Management course).
\n\tOH&S Act and Regulations (latest version of the Act and regulations);
\n\tCOID Act (latest version of the Act);
\n\tIncident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis Technique;
\n\tHazard Identification and Risk Assessment Training;
\n\tHealth & Safety Auditing;
\n\tEnvironmental Compliance Recognized Course;
\n\tEmergency Preparedness Coordination Training;<\/p>\n
Advantageous:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tNational Diploma in Safety Management or Environmental Health.
\n\tISO 45001 Implementation and Auditing Courses.
\n\tPower Plant Construction & Commissioning experience.
\n\tESKOM Plant Safety Regulations (PSR) experience.
\n\tMedically Fit.
