\tOur auditing department in Durban is looking for a dedicated, professional, in-service graduate to support and perform a wide range of audit assignments under the Supervision of the Audit Team.
\n\tFrom financial, operational and IT audits to compliance reviews, operational performance, and fraud investigations \u2014 you\u2019ll play a key role in strengthening our internal control frameworks and risk assessments.
\n\tThis position requires strict adherence to corporate policies, ethical standards, and the Risk Management Framework.
\n\tYou’ll also take on exciting ad hoc tasks and projects, gaining invaluable exposure across the business.

Functional Roles<\/p>\n
\tPrepare and complete the Internal Control Frameworks.
\n\tComplete initial risk assessment and rating of risks.
\n\tComplete walk through.
\n\tExecute test of controls.
\n\tDocument the outcome of test of controls and relevant findings.
\n\tAssess the effectiveness of controls and rate the residual risk accordingly.
\n\tIdentify gaps in process and related controls.
\n\tFormulate recommendations\/improvement areas were necessary.
\n\tAddress review queries timeously and accurately.
\n\tComplete audit tasks and projects as allocated by the Managers within the set timeframes and deadlines.
\n\tApply sampling on the methodology as agreed with the Senior Internal Auditor\/ Manager.
\n\tExtrapolate errors identified in testing against the population as required.
\n\tTake ownership and accountability for allocated internal audits.
\n\tThoroughly and timely review findings and other investigative leads that potentially identify suspicious activity.
\n\tEnsure that auditable transactions, processes, activities, and control systems are compliant with legislation, business policies, and procedures and the Internal Control Framework.
\n\tCollaborate with team members across multiple divisions and departments.
\n\tSubmit a daily report detailing aspects of work completed.
\n\tAttends to ad hoc tasks and projects as allocated from time to time by the Manger<\/p>\n
