The role will be based in Westville and report to the Category Marketing Executive.<br \/>\n\tThe key purpose of this role is to support the Category Marketing Executive to drive category growth within the New Business Development Channels. The role is predominantly focused on the Pet category and includes some assistant brand work on the Pet Brands.<\/p>\n<p>Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tA Degree or Diploma in Marketing or Business Management (3 years).<br \/>\n\t2 to 3 years relevant experience in a similar environment.<br \/>\n\tValid Code EB drivers\u2019 license.<\/p>\n<p>Duties &amp; Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<br \/>\nCategory Planning:<\/p>\n<p>\tSupport the category marketing executive in annual business planning process through data analysis, insights and identification of growth opportunities.<br \/>\n\tSupport the development of proposals and recommendations for customers in executing category management projects, including customer reviews, NRM (Net Revenue Management) initiatives which translate into new opportunities for growth or improved profitability.<br \/>\n\tLiaise with the operations team to ensure smooth implementation of initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>Category Management:<\/p>\n<p>\tSupport the category measure and review category performance, margins and customer profitability.<br \/>\n\tAnalyse shelf health, pricing data, product availability and visibility, work with Assistant Channel Marketing Managers to consolidate feedback into actionable plans for the customer team to implement.<br \/>\n\tExecute brand standards (brand DNA) and support development.<br \/>\n\tConduct periodic reviews of planograms and ranging to ensure maximised shelf efficiency.<br \/>\n\tContinuous monitoring of competitor landscape.<\/p>\n<p>Brand Management:<\/p>\n<p>\tSupport the operations team on smaller shopper and brand marketing campaigns across the various brands.<br \/>\n\tBuild and deliver always on digital shopper comms across the various pet brands to support shopper conversion in the different channels.<br \/>\n\tEnsure all marketing material is within brand CI across the brands.<br \/>\n\tLiaise with in-house and in country agencies to support creation and deployment.<\/p>\n<p>Category and Channel Growth through Education and Product Launch:<\/p>\n<p>\tSupport the Category Marketing Executive to implement, maintain and track performance of pet education strategy.<br \/>\n\tWork with the Assistant Channel Marketing Manager in development of new product launch plans.<br \/>\n\tSupport the preparation of Category stories and Trade presentations.<\/p>\n<p>Information Analysis, Management and Reporting:<\/p>\n<p>\tAnalyse and interpret key data to provide feedback on category performance and drive actions into the future.<br \/>\n\tAssist in the compilation of business reports, presentations and category performance analysis (incl. causes of deviation) with an eye on NRM practices.<\/p>\n<p>Financial Management:<\/p>\n<p>\tSupport in management of the marketing spend budgets within agreed limits and ensure that all initiatives are shown to be commercially sound.<br \/>\n\tExecute specific elements of the NRM Program, e.g. promo analysis as per business agreed targets.<br \/>\n\tUnderstand key drivers of profitability and revenue growth to assist in achievement of financial targets.<\/p>\n<p>KPI\u2019s:<\/p>\n<p>\tBusiness growth targets \u2013 volume, revenue and profit.<br \/>\n\tExecution of brand plans and specific projects KPIs.<br \/>\n\tDigital and social metrics and measurements.<br \/>\n\tShelf space and product availability.<br \/>\n\tAccuracy of reporting.<\/p>\n<p>Deadline:4th August,2025<\/p>\n<p>go to method of application \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website (  ) or<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"RCL Foods","_company_website":"","_company_tagline":"","_company_twitter":"","_company_video":"","_filled":0,"_featured":0,"_remote_position":0,"_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job_listing_region":[16],"job-types":[18],"class_list":{"0":"post-14683","1":"job_listing","2":"type-job_listing","3":"status-expired","4":"hentry","5":"job_listing_region-kwazulu-natal","7":"job-type-contract"},"jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings\/14683","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-listings"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/job_listing"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=14683"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"job_listing_region","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job_listing_region?post=14683"},{"taxonomy":"job_listing_type","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job-types?post=14683"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
