Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree (NQF 7) in Sport Science or equivalent
\n\tA minimum of three (3) years\u2019 experience in Sport Science.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Additional Recommendation:<\/p>\n
\tThe applicant should have a broad knowledge of first-year Sport Science.
\n\tGood communication and presentation skills
\n\tGood organizational and planning skills.
\n\tAbility to work both independently and in a team.
\n\tCompetency in Microsoft Office applications and a strong work ethic.
\n\tExperience in E-Learning.
\n\tFirst Aid Training Course.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Summary of Duties:<\/p>\n
\tPerformance Analysis: Analyse the athlete\u2019s performance, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and using data to inform training adjustments to coaches and athletes.
\n\tTraining program development:\u00a0Designing and implementing individualized and team-based training programs based on scientific principles and athlete needs.
\n\tData collection and analysis: Utilizing technology and methods to collect and analyse data on athlete physiology, biomechanics, and performance.
\n\tInjury prevention and management: Implementing strategies to minimize injury prevention risk and providing support for rehabilitation and recovery.
\n\tCommunication and collaboration:\u00a0Collaboration with coaches and other specialists to ensure a\u00a0\u00a0holistic approach to athlete development<\/p>\n
