Duties & Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Financial<\/p>\n
\tOversee daily Financial operations in various international entities
\n\tProcess transactions accurately on Sage
\n\tAssist on Payroll payment runs and associated payroll taxes
\n\tPerform salary control account reconciliations
\n\tEnsure all statutory requirements are met on time
\n\tMaintain the International filing system for all statutory submissions
\n\tInitiate ad hoc payments on the banking platform
\n\tReview all payments
\n\tMaintain intercompany balances
\n\tBalance sheet reconciliations
\n\tMonthly bank reconciliations and comparison of bank statement to bank GL
\n\tReconciliation of Foreign Exchange gains and losses
\n\tConclude and perform month end procedures for reporting
\n\tPerform ad hoc reconciliations as and when required
\n\tAssist International and Regional Finance departments as required<\/p>\n
Cost Control<\/p>\n
\tAllocate expenditure to the correct cost centers
\n\tPerform creditors reconciliations monthly
\n\tProcessing of Creditor Invoices and Payments
\n\tAnalyse TB and identify trends, misallocations or missing costs
\n\tInvestigate and implement cost saving initiatives<\/p>\n
Asset Register<\/p>\n
\tMaintenance and physical verification of asset register to reconcile physical assets against register.
\n\tProcess depreciation and amortisation monthly
\n\tReconcile Sage vs asset register
\n\tEnsure all additions and disposals accounted for correctly and required documentation obtained<\/p>\n
Audits<\/p>\n
\tFacilitates the auditing process (internal & external) by supplying information to external auditors according to organisational requirements
\n\tProvide feedback on queries timeously<\/p>\n
Qualification Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 or Equivalent
\n\tA Bachelor of Commerce Degree
\n\tA Postgraduate Finance qualification or studying towards will be advantageous<\/p>\n
Experience and Skills Requirements<\/p>\n
\t4 years\u2019 accounting experience
\n\tExcellent numeracy and analytical skills
\n\tAbility to work under immense pressure
\n\tComputer literate in MS Office with advanced Excel skills
\n\tSage experience would be advantageous
\n\tHigh level of Integrity
\n\tProblem solving and solution implementation
\n\tExcellent interpersonal skills
\n\tInitiative-taking and enthusiastic<\/p>\n
