Scope of Position:<\/p>\n
\tHousekeeping Attendants are responsible for performing a combination of tasks which maintains the hotel\u2019s cleanliness is maintained. \u00a0The Housekeeping Attendant is thereby contributing to a pleasant and positive Guest experience that will meet the established standards of the Hotel.<\/p>\n
Specific duties, responsibilities & Key performance areas<\/p>\n
\tMust know, understand, and demonstrate all Accor satisfaction standards
\n\tClean all mirrors and glasses; inside of windows; all vents in assigned areas stock all paper supplies in restrooms and storage closets; wipe, clean all marble and tables, dust all surfaces; keep all brass shiny, any cleaning that improves and maintains the Brand Standard of the hotel and property.
\n\tFollow the signing in and out procedures for keys
\n\tVacuum carpets were needed, including rugs on service landing when needed or applicable
\n\tReport all maintenance needs to the maintenance department
\n\tDust all upholstered furniture
\n\tWipe down all base boards when needed
\n\tPerform all tasks using proper safety precautions
\n\tOffers assistance to Guests and colleagues in a courteous manner
\n\tPerform routine work or the same task daily
\n\tReport Lost & Found items to the security office
\n\tMaintain helpful, cooperative relations with fellow colleagues
\n\tMaintain all public restrooms, insuring proper cleanliness and supplies
\n\tClean all public area, meeting rooms\u2019 walls and doors
\n\tCheck and replenish all soap\/lotion dispensers in public toilets
\n\tTo make sure all soiled linen is regularly emptied from the pantry and returned to the linen room
\n\tTo stock up all pantries with clean linen according to par-stock
\n\tTo assist the linen room as required with daily tasks
\n\tTo clean all walls lights\/ceiling lights as required
\n\tTo assist with the removal of guestroom curtains for cleaning
\n\tTo conduct deep cleaning tasks as assigned (e.g. Spot carpet cleaning, shower head de-scaling, etc)
\n\tTo report anything which could be classed as a Health and Safety hazard
\n\tResponsible for pick-up at the start of shift all linen necessary for turndown work (Bedside mats, Terry, etc.)
\n\tOverall tidying of occupied guestrooms to include, but not limited to: dusting, arranging guest belongings neatly, turndown beds, remove soiled linen, retrieve clean linen from linen closets, vacuuming if required, bathroom cleaning if required, replenish rooms with supplies, etc, as per Accor\u2019s standards.
\n\tResponsible for signing in and out master keys daily
\n\tMaintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment
\n\tUpdate and mark all turned down rooms on their assignment paper
\n\tTake accurate room status reports at the end of the shift
\n\tKeep linen closets, supply closet and landing organized and clean
\n\tEmpty vacuum cleaner each time it is nearly full
\n\tReports any problems or questions to Supervisor assigned to your floor
\n\tOffer assistance to guest and colleagues in a courteous manner
\n\tTo use \u201cCleaning in Progress\u201d sign and keep the doors closed at all times, when cleaning the rooms
\n\tTo call In Room Dining\/Room Service for removal of trays\/trolleys
\n\tTo be responsible for reporting any rooms which do not require service, Privacy Please, not slept in on assigned floor or Vacant Rooms
\n\tTo report to the Executive Housekeeper of any mattress protector, blankets, bedspreads, valances in need of changing
\n\tTo report any equipment malfunctioning which may be a Health & Safety hazard
\n\tMaintain excellent grooming and uniform standards
\n\tAttend pre-shift briefing on each shift
\n\tAbility to turndown set number of room per shift
\n\tOther duties as assigned by management<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tPrevious housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar setting preferred
\n\tExcellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
\n\tAbility to work efficiently and manage time effectively
\n\tPhysical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift
\n\tFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
\n\tKnowledge of cleaning products and techniques
\n\t\u00a0<\/p>\n
