\tEngineering installations are constructed according to agreed standards, procedures and specification
\n\tCommunicating winding engine defects to the appropriate supervisor or manager
\n\tMust have Winder experience (Advantegoues)
\n\tPlan electrical equipment installation and maintenance requirement
\n\tImplement and control installation and maintenance plans
\n\tEffective self and team supervision in alignment with Cementation Africa values and leadership initiatives
\n\tEffective stakeholder engagement
\n\tEngineering installations are constructed according to agreed standards, procedures and specifications
\n\tEngineering equipment is maintained \/ repaired according to agreed standards, procedure and schedules
\n\tCompliance with SHEQ, Cementation Africa and client standards, policies, procedures and safety protocols
\n\tCost containment, high mean time to failure after repairs
\n\tCompetent, motivated, disciplined and positive team initiatives
\n\tEffective self and team supervision in alignment with Cementation Africa values and leadership initiatives<\/p>\n
Minimum requirements
\nSuitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent
\n\tSection 26 Electrical Trade Certificate \/ MIETTB (Mining Industry Engineering Trades Training Board) Trade
\n\tValid Medical Certificate of Fitness
\n\tValid First aid Certificate
\n\tValid Code EB driver\u2019s licence
\n\tSound verbal and written communication skills in English
\n\tMedium Voltage training\/certificate (Added advantage).
\n\tAbility to read and interpret drawings, solve problems and make decisions within agreed parameters.
\n\tAppreciation of Programmable Logic Control Systems (PLC).\u00a0<\/p>\n
Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:<\/p>\n
\t5 years\u2019 or more mining industry experience (underground, surface and plant), preferably in a sinking shaft
\n\t5 years\u2019 trade experience as an Electrician
\n\tExperience and knowledge of Shaft Sinking safety devices in the Headgear, Shaft and Stage
\n\tExperience on Excavator fault finding and repair and Vertical Shaft Jumbos
\n\tSound understanding of the Mine Health and Safety Act.
\n\tAppreciation and understanding of the Quality Management Systems.
\n\tThorough understanding of the categories of Medium Voltage practices.
\n\tExperience conducting issue based risk assessments.\u00a0
\n\tEffective job planning and supervisory skills.\u00a0<\/p>\n
