\tGrade 12 level of numeracy and literacy
\n\tA Minimum of 1 year experience within a similar role is preferred.
\n\tA minimum of 1 year of experience in renal will be advantageous.
\n\tMust be able to work under pressure in a constantly changing environment.
\n\tStrong interpersonal skills are required.

Key Performance Areas (KPA)<\/p>\n
\tEnsure the safe and optimal operation of the dialysis service by following these guidelines:
\n\tClean dialysis machines before each patient’s dialysis session, following policies, procedures, and NRC standards.
\n\tEnsure that the unit generator works by conducting daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance inspections, logging technical issues, and refuelling the generator with diesel as needed.
\n\tAdhere to all financial policies and procedures in the unit, particularly regarding stock and waste management.
\n\tProvide excellent customer service and patient care by ordering and serving meals to patients according to their dietary requirements and NRC policies and procedures.
\n\tMaintain a safe work environment and adhere to daily infection control and occupational health and safety standards.
\n\tStay updated on healthcare worker functions in the unit and continuously educate yourself.
\n\tTest the machine alarms before each dialysis session to ensure they are operational and contribute to a safe dialysis environment.
\n\tDemonstrate the National Renal Care Values and Caring the NRC Way.<\/p>\n
