Job Description<\/p>\n
\tOur client, a reputable consulting engineering firm based in Cape Town, is seeking to appoint a qualified and motivated Electrical Design Technologist or Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will contribute to the design and development of electrical building services projects across a range of sectors.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tBTech or BEng in Electrical Engineering (from a recognised tertiary institution)
\n\tMinimum of 2 to 3 years\u2019 practical experience in a consulting engineering environment
\n\tProven ability to contribute to electrical design within building services projects
\n\tBilingual proficiency in English and Afrikaans is essential
\n\tWorking knowledge of Revit and associated workflows will be advantageous
\n\tFamiliarity with SANS standards and local building regulations
\n\tStrong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
\n\tElectrical design of building services projects from concept through to construction
\n\tPreparation of technical documentation including layouts, schematics, and specifications
\n\tCoordination with internal teams, architects, and other consultants
\n\tParticipation in client and site meetings, and project delivery activities<\/p>\n
