\n\tOur Talent Team is on the hunt for a Production Controller for their Baking Division. The role will be based in Rustenburg and will report into the Production Manager.
\n\tThe Production Controller will be responsible to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tMatric required.
\n\tSupervisory and\/or Certificate in Chamber of Baking is required.
\n\tRelevant 3 year Degree\/Diploma in Production and\/or Operations Management as an added advantage.
\n\t2-3 years\u2019 experience in production preferably FMCG.
\n\tBackground experience in leading the team.
\n\tExperience in MS Office Packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).<\/p>\n

Duties & Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tAssist in production activity control to meet business and financial objectives.
\n\tWork with Managers to plan and manage production tasks to improve runtime.
\n\tReview production plans to identify and report potential risks to manager.
\n\tDevelop inventory control techniques to avoid shortages and excesses.
\n\tAssist in processing customer orders and shipments according to the established schedule.
\n\tAssist Managers in controlling production costs while maintaining the quality standards.
\n\tReview job orders and accordingly establish priorities and schedules.
\n\tMonitor execution of job orders and adjust schedules for timely delivery.
\n\tMaintain up-to-date knowledge on company objectives, production strategies and support activities.
\n\tPlan and monitor material movement in production cycles to ensure continuous operations.
\n\tPlan equipment, material and manpower needs for job order.
\n\tCoordinate with the Manager in resolving production planning and control issues.
\n\tWork with the Manager to prepare job order documents and give timely approvals.
\n\tWork with cross-functional teams to complete job orders on-time and within customer specifications.
\n\tCommunicate production updates to Managers and customers on regular basis.<\/p>\n
