\tA Learning & Development Manager is responsible for organising, delivering, and evaluating training programs to deliver an excellent staff experience while support management on proper policies and procedures.<\/p>\n
What will I be doing?<\/p>\n
\tAs a Learning & Development Manager, you are responsible for organising, delivering, and evaluating training programs to deliver an excellent staff experience. An HR Training Officer will also be required to support and advise management on proper policies and procedures. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\tSupport and advise Managers on proper policies and procedures
\n\tSupport the hotel with departmental training requirements
\n\tOrganise, deliver, and evaluate training programmes as required
\n\tManage succession planning with senior managers during the bi-annual appraisal process
\n\tManage employee relations issues in the hotel in a confidential manner, including disciplinaries, grievances, and capability
\n\tEnsure completion of training for hotel security, fire regulations and other health and safety legislation
\n\tAssist in the organisation of Team Member social events
\n\tWork with local organisations and schools to promote the hospitality industry
\n\tPromote and endorse staff benefits
\n\tAssist and resolve team member and management queries
\n\tOversee annual training plan, monthly training calendar, SETA submissions for WSP and ATR and grants<\/p>\n

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:<\/p>\n
\tCIPD qualified or working towards qualification, or equivalent
\n\tKnowledge of hospitality
\n\tGood knowledge of employment law and employee relations
\n\tIT proficiency<\/p>\n
