Description<\/p>\n
Required to perform various SMV\/Flight line duties including, but not limited to:<\/p>\n
\tConduct line maintenance inspections;
\n\tEnsure quality is built in on Pre-Flight, Post Flight and transit inspections performed;
\n\tPerforming routine and non-routine inspections and maintenance on aircraft to ensure they meet the highest safety and operational standards;
\n\tConduct routine inspections on various mechanical systems on the aircraft;
\n\tConduct fault finding and rectify based on the fault;
\n\tPerform A-checks including weekly service checks;
\n\tPerform thorough daily inspections of the aircraft to identify any potential issues or defects;
\n\tConduct necessary maintenance tasks to ensure the airworthiness of the aircraft;
\n\tAdhere to established maintenance procedures and safety standards;
\n\tAll activities must be properly recorded and signed off as per SACAA requirements ensuring that all the required legal aspects are compiled with;
\n\tHealth and safety requirements must always be compiled with to ensure personal and other personnel safety, fire and accident \/ incident preventions;
\n\tEnsure that the work area, equipment, and tooling are properly maintained and safe prior to starting any job to prevent accidents or incidents to aircraft and staff;
\n\tMaintain the highest quality and standard of inspections;
\n\tApply analytical thinking and troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes and implement effective solutions;
\n\tCommunicate clearly and professionally to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of maintenance tasks.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 or Equivalent;
\n\tMinimum of 15 years aviation experience;
\n\tLine and SVM experience;
\n\tPrevious experience working on B737-400 and 800;
\n\tLicensed AME with a SACAA A & C License on B737; 300\/400\/500\/800;
\n\tWillingness to work shifts, weekends and on public holidays;
\n\tMust be available and willing to travel at short notice, both locally and internationally;
\n\tValid South-African passport holder.<\/p>\n
