\tWe are recruiting on behalf of our client who is a leading innovator in digital ink manufacturing, with a growing global footprint and a
\n\treputation for quality, innovation, and customer-centric solutions. As they continue to expand their international presence, they are seeking a dynamic and commercially astute Finance Manager to lead their South African finance operations while supporting their broader global finance vision.
\n\tThis high-impact role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in financial management, capable of partnering with senior leaders and driving continuous improvement. You will play a critical role in shaping financial strategies, strengthening internal controls, and enabling sustainable growth.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities;<\/p>\n
Financial Reporting & Analysis;<\/p>\n
\tOversee the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements. \u2022 Produce accurate and insightful reports that inform the company\u2019s financial performance and support decision-making.<\/p>\n
Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting;<\/p>\n
\tLead the annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes.
\n\tMonitor and analyse budget vs actual variances and recommend corrective actions.
\n\tImplement cost optimisation initiatives and support business efficiency.<\/p>\n
Cash Flow & Treasury Management;<\/p>\n
\tEnsure healthy cash flow and working capital through proactive monitoring and planning.
\n\tImprove key areas such as inventory management, accounts receivable, and payables.
\n\tManage banking relationships.<\/p>\n
Taxation & Audit Compliance;<\/p>\n
\tCoordinate internal and external audits, ensuring audit readiness and clean audit outcomes.
\n\tLiaise with external tax consultants and ensure accurate, on-time tax filings and compliance.<\/p>\n
Strategic Financial Support;<\/p>\n
\tCollaborate with senior management on financial strategy, capital investment decisions, and business planning.
\n\tProvide financial insights and modelling to support key business initiatives, including global expansion.<\/p>\n
Risk Management;<\/p>\n
\tIdentify and assess financial risks across the business.
\n\tDevelop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies and internal controls.<\/p>\n
Team Leadership & Development;<\/p>\n
\tLead and develop the finance team, promoting a high-performance culture.
\n\tProvide mentorship, clear objectives, and growth opportunities for team members.<\/p>\n
Process Improvement & Systems;<\/p>\n
\tDrive continuous improvement in finance processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and transparency.
\n\tSupport ERP and reporting tool optimisation (e.g., Syspro, Power BI).
\n\tLead or participate in financial projects and cross-functional initiatives.<\/p>\n
Requirements
\nQualifications & Experience;<\/p>\n
\tB.Com Accounting with completed SAICA\/SAIPA articles from a recognised audit firm.
\n\tPreferably a qualified CA(SA).
\n\tMinimum 3 years in a finance management role, ideally in a manufacturing or production environment.
\n\tAdvanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI and ERP systems.<\/p>\n
