\tThis position is based in Discovery Connect area, and reports to the Admin Team Leader. The successful individual will be required to provide a multi-discipline and integrated value adding audit service and training to Discovery Connect.<\/p>\n
Key purpose<\/p>\n
\tApply a risk-based audit approach when palling and conducting internal audit assignments.
\n\tTraining and development according to identified core competency gaps.
\n\tCreate plans and work schedules aimed at evaluating systems and operations for potential risk.
\n\tRisk management reports and documents aimed at improving the risk awareness and risk culture of the department\/organization<\/p>\n
Key Outputs<\/p>\n
\tApply a risk-based audit approach when palling and conducting internal audit assignments.

\n\tIdentify new risk facing the business.
\n\tIdentifying interim and permanent controls throughout the work of the department and through the review and analysis of the findings and reports of the Risk Analysis and Audit functions.
\n\tCreate, roll out and maintain risk management frameworks.
\n\tDeciding and Initiating action.
\n\tPresenting and communicating information.
\n\tDelivering results and meeting business expectations.
\n\tPerform research and document it.
\n\tAssist with various projects within the Operational field of the business area.
\n\tBackground experience in training of consultants<\/p>\n

\tExcellent verbal and written communication skills along with well developed presentation skills.
\n\tExcellent report writing and presentations are essential.
\n\tPlanning and scheduling work and meeting deadlines.
\n\tProcess understanding and well developed analysis and problem solving skills
\n\tUnderstanding of statistics and the application of statistical sampling and similar methodologies
\n\tManages time effectively
\n\tWorks productively in a pressurized environment
\n\tPlans activities\/projects well in advance and takes account of changing circumstances
\n\tMakes rational judgments from the available information and analysis<\/p>\n
Qualification & Experience<\/p>\n
The successful candidate must have the following qualifications and experience:<\/p>\n
Essential:<\/p>\n
\tMatric
\n\tExperience working with excel and word on an Advanced level<\/p>\n
Advantageous:<\/p>\n
\tKnowledge of Discovery products
\n\tTertiary qualification an advantage
\n\tNQF5 and RE5 qualification compulsory<\/p>\n
