Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Development Lifecycle<\/p>\n
\tDevelopment of secure, concurrent, event driven highly scalable transaction processing applications
\n\tConduct development using .Net as the primary development language
\n\tConduct database development
\n\tPromote and enhance team efficiencies through the use of established tools, supporting applications and prototypes
\n\tAutomate tasks through the use of appropriate tools and scripting
\n\tPerform development in accordance with specifications and Blue Label Connect development standards
\n\tDevelop unit tests to ensure that requirements are met, and code coverage isadequate
\n\tCreate, document and implement component test scripts and test strategies
\n\tMaintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates and prescribed policies and procedures
\n\tEnsure that the requisite technical supporting documentation, in line with the established Blue Label Connect development standards and internal policies is created and adhered to.
\n\tCollaborate with internal teams and vendors to identify, troubleshoot, investigate and resolve issues and improve product features, documenting any changes and resolutions as may be required
\n\tPerform maintenance programming and address technical debt
\n\tParticipate in a peer review process where all work delivered must be validated according to the documented requirements and in line with the Blue Label Connect development standards
\n\tEnsure software is developed according to the Blue Label Connect development standards and underlying technologies.
\n\tReview and refine high-level business requirements and transform these requirements into Functional Specifications
\n\tBreakdown, prioritize and execute tasks to achieve product deliverables per sprint
\n\tProvide estimates for initial high-level requirements and more detailed estimates for upcoming tasks for input into Sprint planning
\n\tRecommend changes to improve established application processes and procedures.<\/p>\n

Education<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification – Essential<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\t3\u20135 years\u2019 experience as a .NET Developer.<\/p>\n
Proficiency in:<\/p>\n
\tC#, ASP.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API
\n\tBlazor, .NET Framework, MS SQL
\n\tFunctional and automated testing
\n\tCode versioning tools (e.g., Git)<\/p>\n
