\tThe Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety.
\n\tThis role involves managing production schedules, supervising staff, maintaining equipment, and driving continuous improvement to meet organizational goals.
\n\tThe role is critical in coordinating with other departments to achieve optimal production output while adhering to quality and safety standards.<\/p>\n
General Management:<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and implement production plans to meet sales and distribution requirements.
\n\tCoordinate with suppliers and ensure the timely delivery of materials.
\n\tLead daily team meetings to align on targets and address operational issues.<\/p>\n
Production Overview:<\/p>\n
\tEnsure daily production targets are met and manage deviations promptly.
\n\tConduct regular quality control checks and address any identified issues.
\n\tOversee inventory levels and manage procurement in line with demand forecasts.
\n\tTo understand and monitor yields in line with the SOP.<\/p>\n
Staff Supervision and Development:<\/p>\n
\tDirectly supervise production staff, providing coaching and guidance to enhance performance.
\n\tConduct performance evaluations and recommend training or development programs as needed.
\n\tFoster a safe and motivated work environment.<\/p>\n
Health and Safety Compliance:<\/p>\n
\tEnsure adherence to all health and safety regulations in the production environment.
\n\tConduct routine safety audits and implement corrective actions for any discrepancies.<\/p>\n
Equipment Maintenance:<\/p>\n
\tMonitor production equipment to ensure it is operating efficiently.
\n\tCoordinate scheduled maintenance and address repairs promptly.<\/p>\n
Reporting and Metrics:<\/p>\n
\tTrack and analyse production metrics to optimize efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
\n\tPrepare and present reports on production performance to senior management.<\/p>\n
