\n\tMinimum of 1-year relevant experience in monitoring Water and Sanitation services in Informal Settlements
\n\tKnowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act
\n\tPrepared to work outside normal working hours when required
\n\tA valid code B\/EB Driver\u2019s license<\/p>\n
Key Performance Areas<\/p>\n
\tConducting general site visits, evaluating current services and recommend improvements.
\n\tConducting Site visits in line with Departmental Service Delivery Budget Implementation Plan (SDBIP) targets.
\n\tInvestigating existing water and sanitation infrastructure and services against available technology to ensure services are sustainable.
\n\tCompiling technical reports from statistics and investigating water and sanitation events to monitor trends in infrastructure deterioration.
\n\tAssist with monitoring and reporting via SharePoint and SAP, including capturing EPWP Monitor Reports.
\n\tGenerate C3 Notifications aligned with departmental SDBIP targets based on site observations.
\n\tAssist with formulating and verifying water and sanitation statistics for media responses.
\n\tRepresenting the Informal Settlements Basic Services Branch at meetings, e.g., Sub-council, Informal Settlements Community, Mayoral visits including over weekends and after hours, etc.
\n\tAssist with formulating and verifying water and sanitation statistics for media responses.
\n\tAssisting with operations and monitoring of service providers.
\n\tMonitor and enforce health and safety practices at Borchard\u2019s Quarry WWTW, ensuring compliance with regulations and proactively identifying and addressing hazards and unsafe conditions.
\n\tSupport Monitoring and Evaluation to ensure performance objectives and standards are met.<\/p>\n
