We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Tax Manager to join our dynamic tax team. The ideal candidate will bring in excess of 7 years of progressive tax experience, possessing strong multi-jurisdictional tax technical knowledge (US\/ UK\/ EU\/ SEA\/ SA), including experience with IFRS\/GAAP, US sales tax and income tax, as well as international tax frameworks. Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tAssist in data analysis and gathering for the preparing and\/ or reviewing the income tax and indirect tax returns of the Group, including the US
\n\tResponsible for hands-on leading and processing the information required for the year-end provision for US tax purposes
\n\tProvide support for tax audits and answers to inquiries from various taxing jurisdictions, and to partner with local advisors where relevant.
\n\tVerification of tax account balances by performing reconciliations on tax general ledger
\n\taccounts (VAT\/GST\/ sales tax, deferred tax, current tax accounts, )
\n\tUpdate and maintain the tax
\n\tAssist the Head of Tax with various ad hoc projects, and analysis.<\/p>\n

\tEducation: Bachelor\u2019s degree in accounting\/ finance. CA(SA) preferred, with post grad in Tax required.
\n\tAt least 7 years progressive tax specific experience gained within a commercial environment of a multinational Group, or a mixture of Big Four experience and in-house experience.
\n\tPossess strong working knowledge of and ability to apply accounting concepts; practical international tax interpretive knowledge gained from established taxing jurisdictions; and the ability to analyze and synthesize large amounts of data and related compliance\/regulations.
\n\tSuperior skills with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Other ERP experience such as Oracle advantageous
\n\tStrong mathematical and quantitative skills to handle tax provision preparation, tax audits, reconciliation related tax
\n\tMust be a meticulously detailed individual to ensure excellent reconciliation and consistently accurate filling of reports, preparation of documents, and effective performance of other duties
\n\tOrganizational skills: Highly organized individual with the ability to multi-task and prioritize projects to ensure completion within assigned
