As the Data Governance Analyst you\u2019ll be the bridge between our business stakeholders and the technical teams working to gain their buy in and ensuring we deliver high quality, trusted data. \u00a0
\n\tThe Data Governance Analyst\u2019s role is focused on making sure our data is understood, controlled and high-quality. Working as part of a dynamic team in a regulated environment this role will be key in shaping the future of Data Governance\u202fat Rank. Core within this role will be\u2026.\u00a0
\n\tStakeholder management \u2013\u202fCollaborate closely\u202fwith business leaders, project teams,\u202fengineers,\u202farchitects,\u202fand testers to foster a culture of data excellence.\u00a0
\n\tEstablish data management principles, policies, procedures, and standards\u202f\u2013 guide the way for future data initiatives.\u00a0
\n\tExpand the metadata management and cataloguing capability \u2013 Take responsibility for ensuring data is understood across Rank.\u00a0
\n\tEmbed best practice in Rank\u2019s single source of truth for data \u2013 Lead the activities to champion data quality, discoverability, and best practice for our flagship system.\u00a0
\n\tLead & facilitate action-oriented data working groups\u202f\u2013 drive practical solutions for impactful governance.\u00a0
\n\tChampion high-quality data \u2013\u202fguarantee valuable data is well-managed,\u202fcompliant,\u202fand delivers maximum value by identifying and unblocking issues.\u00a0
\n\tSupport the governance of AI \u2013 Support the design and delivery of a fit for purpose data governance approach for AI, ensuring we are effectively managing data and unlocking value.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tTo excel in this role, we\u2019re looking for a strong people person, someone with exceptional attention to detail and a relevant background in data\u2026.\u00a0
\n\tExcellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to communicate with senior stakeholder management.\u00a0
\n\tA strong attention to detail and the ability to communicate if and where issues are identified.\u00a0
\n\tA passion for data and doing the right things the right way.\u00a0
\n\tA data background, ideally in data governance \/ data management role\u202for as a data analyst.\u00a0
\n\tAn understanding of data management aspects e.g. business data ownership.\u00a0
\n\tExperience with a data cataloguing and metadata management tool(s).\u00a0
\n\tExperience engaging and influencing at all levels of the business (e.g. running working groups and data councils).\u00a0
\n\tThe ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight timelines.\u00a0<\/p>\n
