\tYou have a passion for influencing school culture, demonstrating leadership, and making a positive impact in your\u00a0school community.\u00a0
\n\tYou graduated within the past year with a Bachelor of Education degree or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).\u00a0
\n\tYou are between the ages of 22 – 35 years\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tYou are qualified to teach in one or more of the following phases: Foundation, Intermediate, Senior, or Further Education and Training (FET)\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
You are qualified to teach one or more of the following subjects:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tSTEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths)\u00a0
\n\tLanguages (Home and First Additional Languages)\u00a0
\n\tIT, Coding and Robotics\u00a0
\n\tYou are based in the Western Cape\u00a0and willing to teach in a rural, township, or urban Schools\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tYou are a Registered South African citizen\u00a0
\n\tYou are SACE Registered or in the process of registering\u00a0<\/p>\n
Teach The Nation Leadership Development Scholarship\u00a0Programme Overview (Once Placed at a school)\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tTwo 30-minute individual coaching sessions per month\u00a0
\n\tOne virtual Community of Practice (COP) session per school term.\u00a0
\n\tOne classroom observation per term to develop and refine teaching strategies.\u00a0
\n\tOngoing monitoring through sharing of learner academic results and progress.\u00a0
\n\tParticipation in surveys involving Fellows, Learners, Principals, and other stakeholders.\u00a0
\n\tDesign and\/or strengthen Community Impact Projects.\u00a0
\n\tAttend our Summer Institute at the beginning of 2026 during the school holidays (exact dates to be confirmed).\u00a0<\/p>\n
