Job Purpose\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tThe Cabin Crew member is responsible to ensure the on-board safety of the Airline\u2019s customers and to provide a 5-star customer experience on-board in line with SAA\u2019s Customer Service Standards. The role will ensure that the on-board service delivered to customers complies with the touch-point standards, service procedures and duties defined for the aircraft type operated and ensure the uncompromised excellent customer experience throughout the pairing.\u00a0
\n\tThe role will effectively perform this function by following through on instructions by the SCCM on all aircrafts. Further, the Cabin Crew member will effectively resolve all conflict and disputes for customers on all flights. The role will assist in promoting the Corporate Brand, protecting the company\u2019s goodwill and ensuring the Company\u2019s image is upheld.\u00a0
\n\tLastly, the Cabin Crew member will adhere to standard operating procedures and are accountable to the Purser on all aircraft. \u00a0 The role will report all non-compliances to company standards to the Purser and or Commander.<\/p>\n
Principal Accountabilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tDemonstrates an understanding of the Inflight Services strategy and plan relevant to own work outputs
\n\tImplements strategy within area of responsibility\/own area of work
\n\tProvides recommendations to support the implementation of the Inflight Operations strategy and plan
\n\tContributes to the budget management and containment of costs on-board
\n\tProvides recommendations on profitability
\n\tEnsures correct application of processes and systems in area of responsibility
\n\tUtilises resources in area of responsibility\/own area of work in a time and cost-effective manner
\n\tUtilises technology to enhance internal and external customer requirements
\n\tExecutes work outputs according to customer requirements
\n\tAdheres to Governance and Risk Management policies, processes and systems
\n\tDelivers on regular, irregular and timeous reporting of information to key stakeholders
\n\tParticipates in continuous optimisation programmes, projects and initiatives
\n\tResponsible for the safety of customers and all crew onboard
\n\tManage emergency situations on-board
\n\tManage inflight medical emergencies
\n\tRenders a high-quality service to customers and crew
\n\tMaintains sound interaction between customers, Flight Deck crew, Purser and cabin crew
\n\tAssists in maintaining crew well-being
\n\tCompliance with the relevant company policies, procedures, standards and relevant legislation (BCEA, LRA, industrial agreement, CAA regulations, etc.) and all other regulatory requirements of countries SAA operates in
\n\tReport all non-compliance to Company Standards to the Purser and\/or Commander<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12
\n\tSACAA Licenced Crew Member<\/p>\n

\tFluency in English is essential
\n\tMust be able to swim
\n\tA weight proportional to height, minimum of 1,58m
\n\tA maximum body mass index of 35 to be maintained throughout the term of the appointment\u00a0
\n\tMust be able to fit in an aisle of the aircraft
\n\tAdditional foreign languages will be an advantage
\n\tReliable transport
\n\tAble to work on her\/his own without supervision
\n\tWell groomed with no visible tattoos<\/p>\n
