PURPOSE<\/p>\n
\tThis position exists to assist the Process Manager to ensure the efficient
\n\toperation of the plant against set objectives.<\/p>\n
RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
Safety<\/p>\n
\tCarry and fulfil responsibilities of a MHSA Section 2.9.2 legal appointment
\n\tLead team to complying with company SHE strategy and zero harm frame-work
\n\tEnsure team\u2019s understanding of company safety policies, standards and procedures
\n\tIdentify areas of improvement in line with company strategy
\n\tIdentify SHE training requirements of reports
\n\tBe part of Incident\/ Accident investigation teams
\n\tUphold all applicable minimum legal requirements.<\/p>\n
Operations<\/p>\n
\tAchieve production and quality targets
\n\tManage performance of production shifts
\n\tForm part of maintenance planning and execution.
\n\tSupervision and sign off maintenance tasks
\n\tEnsure plant operates within cost budget
\n\tMaintain high standards of operational excellence
\n\tIdentify process optimization needs
\n\tControl all process consumable consumptions within company standards<\/p>\n
People and System Management<\/p>\n
\tDrive teams\u2019 compliance to company strategy
\n\tEffectively delegate tasks
\n\tManage time and attendance, and other systems
\n\tIdentify and develop talent within areas of responsibility
\n\tScheduling and planning of work force plan<\/p>\n
Administration<\/p>\n
\tCompletes safety, production, maintenance, personnel, and quality control records and reports<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n
\tMetallurgical, Chemical Engineering or other related Diploma\/ Degree.<\/p>\n
EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\t5 years experience in coal processing plants
\n\tA minimum 3 years proven supervisory experience.<\/p>\n
SKILLS, QUALITIES AND ABILITIES REQUIRED<\/p>\n
