logistics environment, construction, or manufacturing environment<\/p>\n<p>Advantageous:<\/p>\n<p>\tExperience in working with Bargaining Councils<br \/>\n\tExperience engaging at various levels (front-end to management level)<br \/>\n\tExposure to transformational and transactional HC functions<br \/>\n\tExperience with payroll systems such as PaySpace, Oracle, SAP, ESS<\/p>\n<p>Knowledge<br \/>\nEssential:<\/p>\n<p>\tSound knowledge of HC policies, practices, and procedures<br \/>\n\tUnderstanding of administration and payroll systems<br \/>\n\tKnowledge of Bargaining Council administrative requirements<br \/>\n\tBasic financial and commercial acumen<br \/>\n\tAppreciation for value-add of technology<br \/>\n\tUnderstanding of employment contract law and relevant employment legislation<br \/>\n\tApplication of legislation within The company\u2019s HC frameworks<br \/>\n\tKnowledge of employment legislation in countries where the Business Unit operates<\/p>\n<p>Skills<br \/>\nEssential:<\/p>\n<p>\tCompetence in MS Office (Word, Excel &amp; PowerPoint) at an intermediate level<br \/>\n\tStrong administrative, documentation control, and management skills<br \/>\n\tExcellent interpersonal skills to build relationships and manage diversity<br \/>\n\tStrong listening and conflict resolution skills<br \/>\n\tBasic business acumen with the ability to analyze and interpret numerical and commercial data<br \/>\n\tAbility to multi-task with accuracy and attention to detail<br \/>\n\tStrong analytical thinking to optimize and improve HC processes<\/p>\n<p>Personal Attributes<br \/>\nEssential:<\/p>\n<p>\tPassion for working within defined processes and systems<br \/>\n\tRespectfully challenges and values others<br \/>\n\tPreference for team collaboration within HC Operations, Shared Services, and HC Centre of Excellence<br \/>\n\tDemonstrates ethical behavior and maintains confidentiality<br \/>\n\tProactive in initiating action and continuous improvement<\/p>\n<p>Advantageous:<\/p>\n<p>\tMaintains business awareness<br \/>\n\tComfortable with change and uncertainty<br \/>\n\tEnthusiastic about learning, sharing, and growth<br \/>\n\tConcerned with aligning to best practices<br \/>\n\tStrong leadership and communication skills<\/p>\n<p>Key Deliverables and Outputs<br \/>\nEmployee Relations<\/p>\n<p>\tProvide timely guidance and support to managers<br \/>\n\tProactively identify issues and advise on resolution strategies<br \/>\n\tConduct post-reviews to assess departmental status and determine further action<br \/>\n\tEnsure all Corrective Counselling Reports (CCRs) and performance reviews are concluded within two weeks from notification to outcome<\/p>\n<p>Recruitment<\/p>\n<p>\tPrioritize internal candidates before external recruitment<br \/>\n\tDrive Employment Equity (EE) and Affirmative Action (AA), particularly for African Male and Female candidates<br \/>\n\tEnsure communication with unsuccessful candidates upon appointment<br \/>\n\tManage vacancies, adverts, and job descriptions<\/p>\n<p>Payroll Administration<\/p>\n<p>\tAdminister payroll inputs and communicate deadlines effectively<br \/>\n\tEnsure input quality and reduce complaints due to process errors<br \/>\n\tCoordinate payroll operations across the business<br \/>\n\tImplement and monitor remuneration and benefits policies in alignment with the central Centre of Excellence<br \/>\n\tTrack compliance and generate reports<\/p>\n<p>HC Compliance<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure compliance across all HC processes including recruitment, onboarding, probation, performance management, and exits<br \/>\n\tEnsure adherence to leave policies<\/p>\n<p>Training and Empowerment<\/p>\n<p>\tTrain managers and employees on HC administration processes<br \/>\n\tTranslate talent and transformation strategies into operational Talent Tactics (e.g., graduate intake, Learnerships, leadership development)<br \/>\n\tMonitor and coordinate induction for new recruits<\/p>\n<p>Employee Engagement<\/p>\n<p>\tConduct internal consultations and engagements<br \/>\n\tPerform regular site visits to engage with staff<\/p>\n<p>Balanced Scorecard (BSC)<\/p>\n<p>\tDrive the performance review process and employee evaluation<br \/>\n\tManage employee benefits and third-party relationships including Medical Aid, Pension, WCA, GPA, YES, BBBEE service providers, training institutions, and wellness programs (ICAS\/LYRA)<\/p>\n<p>Compliance, Reporting, and Auditing<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure B-BBEE compliance and reporting<br \/>\n\tHold Employment Equity (EE) Consultation Forums<br \/>\n\tImplement operational transformation plans aligned with B-BBEE, Diversity &amp;
