Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tA minimum of 5 years’ experience with data management and general hardware and software support.
\n\tGrade 12
\n\tCompTIA A+ Certification
\n\tCompTIA Network+ Certification
\n\tValid driver’s license
\n\tDegree or Diploma in an ICT related field (advantageous)
\n\tCompTIA Security+ Certification
\n\tMCSA Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate Qualification
\n\tCCNA certified \/ Fortinet NSE4 – 7 (advantageous)<\/p>\n
Your Key Performance Activities will include but not limited to:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tReporting, Monitoring & Evaluation, Audit: Ensure that all ICT reporting is aligned with standards, guidelines and schedules.
\n\tInstall and configure ICT equipment and software (Including desktops, laptops, printers, data projectors, VC equipment, access control (alarm & biometrics), handheld devices, applications etc.).
\n\tMaintain desktops and laptops.
\n\tMaintain current and accrued inventory of technology hardware, software & resources (100% accuracy of asset register).
\n\tIdentify and prepare old hardware for disposal according to company disposal policy.
\n\tProvide support on hardware and software (Including desktops, laptops, printers, data projectors, VC equipment, access control (alarm & biometrics), handheld devices, applications etc.).
\n\tTroubleshoot and diagnose all reported issues.
\n\tProvide 1st level network support: Troubleshooting and resolving of any issues with the networking infrastructure and to escalate if necessary.
\n\tAdd and set up new users on all relevant system.
\n\tAccess the Help Desk to record, accept or resolve all IT calls that has been logged.
\n\tTroubleshooting and diagnosing of all reported issues on the helpdesk.
\n\tProvide subject matter expertise and skills in area of responsibility; advising on solutions to enhance or ensure the effectiveness of the department\/section.
\n\tEstablish and maintain good working relationships and an effective \/ sound communication system within the operation.
\n\tHousekeeping (DC, UPS Room, Tech Room and Office equipment installs etc.)
\n\tAlert Monitoring
\n\tDay to day cost Management (1 cost saving initiative per quarter).
\n\tSeek own development and leaning opportunities (1 Intervention per quarter).
\n\tRepairing and replacing equipment as necessary.
\n\tSecurity Management: Assisting in implementing and maintaining security measures to protect the organization’s computer systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. This includes antivirus software management, access control, and data backup procedures.
\n\tTakes cognisance of and adhere to Company policies, procedures and relevant legislation. Manage and report on non-compliance issues.
