Purpose:<\/p>\n
\tThe purpose of this job is to ensure that all stock is correctly marked and packed for customer purchase, resulting in effective and efficient operation of the organisation in order to generate sales and increase growth and profit margins<\/p>\n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n
\tEnsure all stock is marked with barcode stickers if and when needed
\n\tEnsure all incoming orders are marked in the specifies time given by Team Leader
\n\tEnsure stock is packed away in the correct department and right location
\n\tEnsure all stock is packed away neatly and in a non-hazardous manner
\n\tEnsure all stock is marked with barcode stickers if and when needed
\n\tAssist Store Person with picking of stock
\n\tAssist Merchandisers with pre-packing of stock
\n\tEnsure the merchandising standards in the department are adhered to e.g. coding of boxes,\u00a0stock is packed in the relevant sub-department, stock is packed\/ stacked in a non-hazardous\u00a0manner
\n\tCarry out instructions from our supervisor and follow all store procedures
\n\tReport to your superior when leaving the department e.g. break time, restroom breaks
\n\tParticipate in perpetual stock takes
\n\tHousekeeping of work area
\n\tPerform any work-related task as delegated by superior<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
\tMatric or x3 Completed Intercept courses equating to total of 120 credits
\n\t1 Year minimum experience in a similar role
\n\tBrights Induction (service excellence)
\n\tGood customer service and Interpersonal skills
\n\tAwareness & Vigilance
\n\tAbility to handle pressure
\n\tNumerical skills
\n\tAbility to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision
\n\tExceptional organisational ability, high attention to detail and ability to multi-tasksWilling to work flexible hours and holidays to meet the needs of the business<\/p>\n
