RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n
\tDebt collection deadlines \/ targets to be met.
\n\tCompletion of 60 days analysis timeously when ready
\n\tVerifying client payments.
\n\tCapture of payments on Freightware.
\n\tPrinting of receipts daily to ensure accurate account\/amount captured.
\n\tAllocating payments\u00a0to invoices timeously.
\n\tAllocating previous months claims to respective ageing timeously.
\n\tPreparing information for handover of bad debt to SVG Legal once Final Demand has been sent.
\n\tLiaison with SVG Legal personnel to resolve any outstanding queries, requests etc.
\n\tDebtors account balance reconciliation as required.
\n\tInvestigate and resolve customer queries
\n\tRetrieval of new account \/ rate adjustment information via email from CRM\/Pentagon.
\n\tAccurate capture and checking of new account details including rates.
\n\tAppraisal by evaluating ITC credit reports and conducting trade reference checks.
\n\tEvaluating credit worthiness of applicants and ascertaining payment profile.
\n\tApprove or deny applications and communicate decisions to the appropriate sales personnel in a timely manner.
\n\tRequesting deposits, drafting sureties if applicable.
\n\tPrinting waybill activity \/ excel downloads of customers with potential incorrect billing \u2013 list to be compiled from monthly debits\/credits analysis.
\n\tPrinting all waybills invoiced over R 1000 \u2013 details to be obtained from Financial Value report.
\n\tVerifying account billing for the above prior to every tax run.
\n\tPreparation for statements by assisting with tax runs if required, receipts and claims allocated, and age analysis checked for errors.
\n\tPreparation and emailing of excel invoices and statements.
\n\tEnsuring that all new customer information are correctly captured on Freightware for Edocs automatic statement\/invoice delivery.
\n\tImmediate action and follow up of all returned emails.<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12
\n\tGeneral understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
\n\tProcessing of bad debt
\n\tManagement of high-risk clients
\n\tAge Analysis.
\n\tAccount reconciliation and analysis
\n\tThree \/ four years\u2019 experience in debtors, of which at least three years has to include credit control.
\n\tMS Excel, Word and outlook applications
\n\tPreparation of Excel spreadsheets
\n\tNumerate
\n\tCustomer care and complaint handling<\/p>\n
