This position will be accountable for:<\/p>\n
\tPlans the business analysis approach for the assigned project\/s, including stakeholder approach, identification, analysis and categorisation
\n\tAssessing information technology systems and making suggestions for how they can better meet business needs
\n\tCollaborating with team members to understand organisational and operational challenges
\n\tDetermining the objective of IT service requests and prioritise requirements of stakeholders accordingly
\n\tDiscovering, organising, and clarifying business needs and reviewing\/producing specifications for change
\n\tDefining objectives and scope of business system and document functional and non-functional requirements for developers and stakeholders
\n\tPreparing detailed requirement specifications using case statements and related documentation
\n\tPlanning, organising and facilitating work sessions for gathering business requirements
\n\tProviding consistent requirements documentation, building business process models using modeling language to present interaction of different system elements
\n\tReviewing and editing requirements based on proposed solutions
\n\tResearching, evaluating and sourcing possible system solutions
\n\tConducting status meetings with business for updates and prioritisation of work efforts
\n\tCollaborating with application and software development team on design, development and defect management
\n\tWorking with software testing team to setup test criteria and test plans to ensure achievement of functional requirements
\n\tManaging and maintaining documented requirements through the development cycle
\n\tUsing requirements to enable the design or review of test cases, process change requests and manage a project scope, acceptance, installation and deployment
\n\tProviding coaching to less experienced business analysts
\n\tConstruct interface wireframes that detail user journeys and system logic<\/p>\n
Education and training:<\/p>\n
\tBachelor\u2019s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent
\n\tIIBA certification<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of 4-5 years progressive experience in an IT business analysis role
\n\tExperience using process \/ functional requirements definition methods
\n\tA strong background with different analytical techniques including Interface Analysis, Feasibility Analysis, and SWOT Analysis is required
\n\tExperience giving presentations and facilitating stakeholder meetings
\n\tExperience working within agile team formation desirable
\n\tExperience working with agile methodologies, including creating user stories, story mapping, etc<\/p>\n
