{"id":15250,"date":"2025-07-31T16:00:18","date_gmt":"2025-07-31T16:00:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/regional-sales-manager-kzn\/"},"modified":"2025-11-01T00:24:57","modified_gmt":"2025-11-01T00:24:57","slug":"regional-sales-manager-kzn","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/?post_type=job_listing&p=15250","title":{"rendered":"Regional Sales Manager &#8211; KZN"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Job Description<\/p>\n<p>\tReady to take charge of regional growth and make a real impact?<br \/>\n\tJoin our iKTribe as a Regional Sales Manager in KwaZulu-Natal, where your leadership will empower a high-performing team and help entrepreneurs across the region start, run, and grow thriving businesses.<\/p>\n<p>So, what will you do?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tYou will be responsible for helping drive the growth of our business by managing a team of Field and Informal Sales specialists and Agents, as they seek to equip merchants with the payment solutions needed to start, run and grow their businesses.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the above, you will:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tBe responsible for growing the merchant base within your regions through sales of devices and activation of these devices.<br \/>\n\tFormal and Informal field activations will be required from time to time.<br \/>\n\tSales reporting to be executed and presented as and when required.<br \/>\n\tEnsure that merchants in your region are adequately supported from an acceptance branding perspective.<br \/>\n\tIdentify opportunities to enhance the visibility of the iKhokha brand in the Formal and Informal trading environments.<br \/>\n\tGrow the market share in your region through visibility within trading environments.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tCoordination of tactical activation of brand in conjunction with Marketing team.<br \/>\n\tManagement of marketing collateral and swag within region, including distribution to agents and replenishment strategy.<br \/>\n\tMerchant product setup, training and 1st line support.<br \/>\n\tCross sell of new products and services to merchants within your region.<br \/>\n\tGeneral management of the regional team, including leave management, performance management and goal setting. You will develop and execute in-field training programs to support staff representing\/selling iK products in the formal and informal field environments.<br \/>\n\tEnsuring quality assessment of all team members from a product and sales expertise perspective.<br \/>\n\tYou will provide reports on completed training programs and deliver insights to management on proposed improvements.<br \/>\n\tFoster strong and trustworthy relationships with key merchants in your region.<br \/>\n\tYou will drive your teams to ensure Sales and GP targets are met within your region.<br \/>\n\tYou will analyse market insights to determine industry and customer trends and propose opportunities to management to action within your region.<br \/>\n\tYou will research and identify opportunities for continuous improvement on training, increasing field sales and relationship building across your region.<br \/>\n\tYou will collect competitor information and provide feedback reports based on your analysis.<br \/>\n\tYou will be responsible for all stores within your regional territory and ensuring KPIs are met.<br \/>\n\tYou will be responsible to fully adopt the companies chosen platform to monitor and measure field specialist and agent activity.<br \/>\n\tDrive the discipline of logging required activity on the chosen system.<br \/>\n\tResponsibility for ensuring that direct reports are using the chosen system as is required.<br \/>\n\tProviding daily, weekly and monthly reports on performance of regional team.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications<\/p>\n<p>\tMatric<br \/>\n\tUniversity degree or National Diploma in Marketing, Sales or similar would be advantageous.<\/p>\n<p>Deal Breakers:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>At least 5 years of sales operations, retail sales or field sales experience within which 2 years must be managing a distributed team as well as the following:<\/p>\n<p>\tProven track record in distributed team management.<br \/>\n\tProficient in English and other South African Languages, both written and verbal.<br \/>\n\tExcellent networking and selling skills, with proven track record in terms of being able to develop your own pipeline of leads, and convert these leads into customers.<br \/>\n\tSolid understanding of MS Office suite, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with ability to set targets, communicate these targets to a team, manage the team towards the target, and report on progress being made.<br \/>\n\tPrevious experience in using a CRM platform to manage leads, deals and workflows, including ability to report on progress of team using such platforms.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the above, the experience in the following technologies, domains and best practices will make you a frontrunner for the role:<\/p>\n<p>\tStrong analytical ability.<br \/>\n\tOrganizational and planning ability.<br \/>\n\tSolutions oriented and excellent team-worker who is able to motivate, manage, coach and lead a diverse team.<br \/>\n\tA confident and assertive communicator with strong influencing and negotiation skills.<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( http:\/\/www.ikhokha.com ) or<\/p>\n<p>jobs.smartrecruiters.com<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"http:\/\/jobs.smartrecruiters.com","_company_name":"iKhokha","_company_website":"http:\/\/www.ikhokha.com","_company_tagline":"The iKhokha brand is by essence brave, honest, cheeky, innovative and customer-centric.
