Intercare Silverlakes Medical and Dental Centre situated in Equestria, Pretoria seeks to recruit a Nursing Coordinator. The purpose of the position is to support the Practice Manager in their efforts to reach strategic branch goals and targets through outstanding coordination and supervision of the nursing department.<\/p>\n
CRITICAL OUTPUTS<\/p>\n
\tEffectively manage operational expenses including but not limited to staffing and consumables.
\n\tManage and implement sound patient flow in the nursing department.
\n\tEnsure that nursing care is in line with all Intercare standards and SANC protocols and scope of practice.
\n\tImplement and communicate revised \/ new operational processes to all staff members.
\n\tEnsure that the disposal of medical waste and human tissue is in accordance to legislation.
\n\tEnsure effective maintenance of schedule 5 – 7 drug registers in accordance to legislation.
\n\tManage correct capturing of all patient data.
\n\tEnsure availability of stationary, business consumables and printing stock etc.
\n\tRecord and manage maintenance of all medical equipment.
\n\tSchedule services of medical equipment.
\n\tEnsure maintenance of office equipment including but not limited to computer hardware copier machines, printers, etc.
\n\tCoordinate and ensure opening and closing of branch by nursing personnel.
\n\tCoordinate and implement sound nursing operational practices aligned with the medical operating model of the organisation and SANC.
\n\tQuality customer service aligned with Intercare\u2019s Vision, Mission, and Values.
\n\tAssist the health professionals with patient care where necessary.
\n\tBuild and maintain productive working relationships with all key stakeholders through on-going communication and feedback.
\n\tEnsure sound working relationships with internal and external customers.
\n\tEnsure patient satisfaction through communication and provision of accurate and timeously information and care, including capturing of correct clinical information.
\n\tEnsure that all nursing staff provide a quality customer service within their scope of practice.
\n\tAttend to customer complaints and escalate where required to line manager.
\n\tEnsure that protocols of professionals are adhered to at all times.
\n\tEffective leadership and people management.<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12
\n\tDiploma\/Degree in nursing leading to qualification as Registered Nurse.
\n\t2-3 years experience as a Registered Nurse with management function will be advantageous.
\n\tComputer proficiency (MS Office) essential.
\n\tCDE experience will be advantageous.
\n\tSANC Registration as Registered Nurse.<\/p>\n
