PURPOSE<\/p>\n
\tThis position exist to ensure to support surveyors in their day-to-day tasks, ensuring accurate measurements, data collection, and documentation for construction projects.<\/p>\n
RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
Field Survey Support<\/p>\n
\tAssist in conducting topographic, boundary, and construction survey using GPS, total stations, and other surveying equipment.
\n\tHelp set out reference points, markers, and benchmark as per project specifications.<\/p>\n
Data Collection and Processing<\/p>\n
\tRecord and process survey data using software like Modelmaker.
\n\tMaintain accurate field notes, sketches, and electronic data for reporting.
\n\tCompile survey data info report and drawings.
\n\tCompile data and keep record for original ground levels.<\/p>\n
Site Coordination<\/p>\n
\tWork with engineers and site managers to ensure proper alignment and levels for construction activities.
\n\tAssist in verifying site dimensions and elevations against design plans.<\/p>\n
Reporting<\/p>\n
\tPrepare preliminary reports and assist in drafting final survey documents<\/p>\n
Equipment Maintenance<\/p>\n
\tEnsure surveying instruments are calibrated, functional and properly stored.<\/p>\n
Compliance<\/p>\n
\tFollow health and safety regulations on-site.
\n\tEnsure surveys comply with legal and regulatory standards.
\n\tInstruments and Software Knowledge
\n\tGPS.
\n\tDigital level.
\n\tRobotic Total Station.
\n\tModel Maker.
\n\tRoad Maker (Will be advantageous).
\n\tMS Office.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n
\tNational Diploma or B.Tech in Surveying.
\n\tSAGC (PLATO) registration would be advantageous.<\/p>\n
EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tAt least Five years relevant experience in surveying.<\/p>\n
