A high degree of co-ordination will be expected of the incumbent in developing strategy and executing plans to build national brands within the context of regional dynamics.<br \/>\n\tThe incumbent will bring in-market, in-category market capability and ensure more strategic coherence and more synergies across the portfolio offerings that do exist today.<\/p>\n<p>Practical Tips:<\/p>\n<p>\tResponsible for brand development, brand building, category growth strategy for full suite of brands and sub-categories across South Africa.<br \/>\n\tThis marketing leader would be responsible for Category strategy with GM alignment, AOP planning and translation into Marketing Strategy, marketing campaigns and activation plans for the category.<br \/>\n\tOwn and drive brand equity, SOM and appropriately launch new brands or brand extensions, in conjunction with Commercialisation and R&amp;D.<br \/>\n\tLiaise with SA CMO in developing and utilizing the support marketing ecosystem, developing and deepening consumer intimacy programmes, and building out consumer engagement platforms.<br \/>\n\tThe role incumbent will partner with Regional Bakery leadership teams to develop on the ground and BTL support for the Bakery GMs in each region.<br \/>\n\tLead innovation agenda for growth and market relevance.<br \/>\n\tLeadership of external stakeholders (agencies) and internal leadership of cross functional teams.<br \/>\n\tWorks within the SA CMO matrix marketing organisation, and aligned to AMESA marketing as required.<br \/>\n\tPepsiCo marketing principles are followed in utilizing the marketing ecosystem, developing and deepening consumer intimacy programmes, driving the innovation agenda with Commercialisation, and building out consumer engagement platforms utilizing TCP and other PepsiCo templates.<\/p>\n<p>Accountabilities:<\/p>\n<p>\tSet strategic agenda and commercials plans to accelerate growth, in alignment with the Category GM and the SSA CMO<br \/>\n\tLeads development of the long term strategic frame work for SA, including portfolio strategy and pricing strategy. Partners with key functions to build and share the best internal and external thinking.<br \/>\n\tBusiness Performance &#8211; Decision (D) Leads, directs, and controls marketing policies, programs, and activities to meet business objectives for local brand portfolio. Creates effective and efficient brand support and prioritizes brand investments in line with long term strategies and growth objectives.
