ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS & TASKS)<\/p>\n
Operational & Functional Oversight:<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and enhance the skills of Maintenance Coordinators.
\n\tEnsure the ROC operates efficiently with the necessary tools and systems.
\n\tMonitor performance quality and oversee escalations for timely resolution.
\n\tAnalyze process failures and implement improvements.
\n\tMaintain effective network health and exception monitoring.<\/p>\n
Team & Performance Management:<\/p>\n
\tLead and support Maintenance Coordinators and external partners.
\n\tEnsure adequate staffing and efficient workforce management.
\n\tDrive team collaboration, training, and motivation.
\n\tOversee performance management and compliance with KPIs.
\n\tManage workflows within operations and the broader Vumatel environment.<\/p>\n
Reporting & Risk Management:<\/p>\n
\tProvide insights on network health, maintenance activities, and case management.
\n\tMonitor and report partner performance based on KPIs.
\n\tDrive improvements in NPS, time-to-resolution, and case reduction.
\n\tIdentify and mitigate operational risks while enforcing compliance.
\n\tContribute to key decision-making forums and management committees.<\/p>\n
Ad Hoc Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tManage change control processes and data communication with stakeholders.
\n\tResolve issues in high-risk areas.
\n\tOversee network activation and troubleshooting.<\/p>\n

Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
Qualifications and experience<\/p>\n
\t\u00a0Matric
\n\tCompleted tertiary qualification (eg Ndip, BTech, PMP)
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license
\n\tMin 3 years management\/ supervisory experience
\n\tMin 3 years managing teams on a optic fibre network
\n\tMin 5 years in the telecoms industry
\n\tFibre experience is essential
\n\tFFTH experience preferred
\n\tMS office suite (word, excel, powerpoint and visio)<\/p>\n
