Job Description<\/p>\n
\tThis role is permanent and is responsible for processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all sundry and trade creditors in an accurate, efficient and timely manner. \u00a0<\/p>\n
Responsibilities
\nInvoices.<\/p>\n
\tProcess invoices and match to purchase orders.
\n\tMatch trade invoices to delivery notes, investigate and resolve any variances.
\n\tFollow up on outstanding invoices, by sending reminders internally and externally to ensure that no invoices are long outstanding.<\/p>\n
Payments.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tPrepare sundry and trade creditors payments and ensure suppliers are paid timeously to avoid penalties on missed payments.
\n\tProcess intercompany payments in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.<\/p>\n
BEE Certificates.<\/p>\n
\tFollow-up on BEE certificates for each supplier to ensure compliance and documentation is available on DAX.<\/p>\n
Reconciliations.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tReconcile supplier statements to the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all entries for suppliers are accounted for.
\n\tInvestigate any variances between supplier statements and accounts payable and resolve queries, ensuring that long outstanding items are followed up.
\n\tEnsure debit balances are recovered timeously.<\/p>\n

\n\tFinance\/Accounting qualification preferred\u00a0<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\t1-3 Years’ Creditors experience\u00a0<\/p>\n
