\tProvide academic leadership within the field of Financial Accounting.
\n\tTeach and assess at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels; develop and enhance the
\n\tFinancial Accounting curriculum, contributing to the ongoing development, maintenance, and quality control of the program.
\n\tLead research initiatives in the field of Accountancy, producing accredited research outputs and supervising graduate and postgraduate students.
\n\tBuild and maintain industry relationships, including consultation work and collaborative research.
\n\tEngage with the community through participation in flagship programs and projects.
\n\tPerform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the line manager.<\/p>\n
APPLICATION CRITERIA:
\nQualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n
\tA master\u2019s degree in accounting or a related field, or possession of CA(SA), CIMA, or ACCA designation.
\n\tStrong knowledge of the theory and application of IFRS in Financial Accounting.
\n\tA minimum of three years of tertiary education or related industry experience.
\n\tResearch experience and published outputs in DHET accredited journals, as well as presentations at conferences, will be an advantage.
\n\tAffiliation with a relevant professional body is advantageous.<\/p>\n
