Truck Driver:<\/p>\n
\tOur client, a leading South African supplier of advanced industrial machinery, is seeking to appoint a Truck Driver to join their team based in Edenvale, Gauteng.
\n\tThe company provides cutting-edge solutions such as panel benders, laser cutters, press brakes, tube and pipe machinery, to a diverse client base across various industrial sectors.
\n\tThe successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Truck Driver.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
\tMatric (Grade 12) or equivalent.
\n\tValid Driver\u2019s License.
\n\tA minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Truck Driver.
\n\tSound knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
\n\tAbility to load, secure and unload heavy machinery and equipment.<\/p>\n
Roles and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tTransport machinery, equipment, and materials to client sites and company locations in a safe and timely manner.
\n\tConduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
\n\tEnsure that all cargo is properly loaded, secured, and complies with safety and legal requirements.
\n\tAdhere to delivery schedules and plan routes effectively to meet deadlines.
\n\tMaintain accurate delivery records, trip sheets, and logbooks.
\n\tCommunicate with dispatch and clients to provide delivery updates and instructions.
\n\tAssist with the offloading, positioning, and basic setup of machinery at client sites when necessary.
\n\tPerform routine vehicle cleaning and ensure the truck is kept in a clean and presentable condition.
\n\tSupport warehouse operations during non-driving hours, including stock handling and general assistance.<\/p>\n
