Purpose of the role:<\/p>\n
\tThe Operational Manager \u00a0will provide overall strategic, operational, commercial, and financial leadership to the company. This role will ensure the effective delivery of BEE Verification Services and other diversified products, while driving profitability, operational excellence, and sustained growth. The Operational Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies, policies, and systems that align with the company\u2019s goals and regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Strategic Leadership<\/p>\n
\tLead the development and execution of the company strategy.
\n\tOversee the formulation and implementation of operational policies and procedures.
\n\tEnsure the company is adequately resourced with qualified staff and systems to meet operational and strategic goals.
\n\tIdentify and pursue new business opportunities and service innovations.<\/p>\n
Operations Management<\/p>\n
\tEnsure smooth and compliant day-to-day operations across all regions.
\n\tOwn and maintain the company\u2019s Verification Services management system.
\n\tCoordinate internal and cross-regional audits and oversee technical committee initiatives.
\n\tEnsure compliance with SANAS and relevant industry standards.<\/p>\n
Financial Oversight<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and manage annual budgets and financial targets.
\n\tMonitor the financial health of the business, including profitability, return on investment, and cost control.
\n\tOversee pricing policies, debt collection procedures, and management of insurances.<\/p>\n
Deliver results in line with financial forecasts.<\/p>\n
\tSales, Marketing & Commercial Growth
\n\tDevelop and execute integrated marketing and sales strategies to grow market share.
\n\tLead client acquisition and retention efforts.
\n\tEstablish strategic partnerships and alliances to support commercial objectives.
\n\tManage the performance and development of the sales team.<\/p>\n
Human Capital Management<\/p>\n
\tEnsure that the company is staffed with competent and adequately trained personnel.
\n\tPromote a performance-driven and values-based organizational culture.
\n\tImplement HR strategies aligned with business growth and transformation goals.
\n\tFacilitate training on BBBEE standards and verification requirements.<\/p>\n
Governance & Risk<\/p>\n
\tAct as Technical Signatory, and Analyst where required.
\n\tOversee internal risk, compliance, and independence procedures.<\/p>\n
Requirements
\nQualifications:<\/p>\n
\tNQF Level 6 qualification or higher<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 5 years\u2019 senior management experience.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tStrong understanding of BBBEE regulations, internal audits, management systems, and financial governance.
\n\tCompleted BEE Management Development Programme (MDP) or similar.
\n\tProven leadership in a multi-functional, fast-paced environment.
\n\tExceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.<\/p>\n
