Requirements<\/p>\n
RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
Business \/ Functional Management<\/p>\n
\tExecute operational and technical duties in line with organisational directives, as provided
\n\tSupport implementation of business initiatives as directed<\/p>\n
Financial, Commercial and Contracts Management<\/p>\n
\tWork with materials and equipment in a cost-effective way, as per standard operating procedures and practice notes as directed
\n\tEnsure full compliance to material usage requirements in executing duties
\n\tRisk Management and Compliance, Including Environmental and Social Governance (ESG) Responsibility
\n\tExecute all duties in strict compliance to Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) policies, procedures and legislation, to ensure the company’s responsibility is met
\n\tComply with all reporting and information requirements<\/p>\n
Stakeholder Management (Internal and External)<\/p>\n
\tEnsure professional interaction with stakeholders
\n\tMaintain working relationships with support functions on site and at head office, as required to deliver in their section against standards
\n\tEngage with peers and seniors on the project to ensure project objectives are achieved as per instruction<\/p>\n
Operations and Project Management<\/p>\n
\tContribute to plan \/ schedule generation for daily \/ shift work, in line with project goals
\n\tResponsible for operational execution of work, through delivery of own tasks and duties, as well as supervision of the work for the team on shift<\/p>\n
Management Operating Systems and Reporting<\/p>\n
\tEnsure all paperwork and posters are displayed on the site office wall and kept up to date
\n\tEnsure all reported near misses are recorded following procedure and submitted weekly<\/p>\n
Technical Management<\/p>\n
\tResponsible for adherence to technical standards and work methods, for section, in accordance with organisational and client requirements, policies, procedures and legislation<\/p>\n
SHEQ Management<\/p>\n
\tCheck sums are right on plan drawings and quantities and that all materials and work are to the specifications
\n\tRecord the condition of plant arriving on site on a form with photographs
\n\tPeople Management
\n\tLead, and manage team
\n\tSupport, guide and coach team
\n\tCulture and Climate
\n\tContribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement for the duration of the project
\n\tAlign with client culture requirements as directed by management<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n
\tNational Diploma in Civil\/ Industrial\/ metallurgy Engineering \/ B Tech in Civil Engineering<\/p>\n
EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tAt least one to two year\u2019s tailings deposition experience working in a mining \/ tailing’s environment or construction environment<\/p>\n
