\tWe are seeking an experienced Oracle PL\/SQL Developer to join our dynamic team supporting agricultural research systems.

Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tMaintain and enhance existing Oracle-based systems and develop new modules
\n\tAnalyze user requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement robust PL\/SQL solutions
\n\tBuild complex queries, optimize database performance, and ensure data integrity
\n\tProvide user support, assist with data extraction, and guide documentation efforts
\n\tCollaborate with agricultural researchers to deliver user-driven system improvements<\/p>\n
Technical Skills & Experience:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 3 years’ experience in Oracle PL\/SQL development
\n\tProficient in Oracle Forms\/Reports (6i\/10g), Oracle APEX, and JDeveloper
\n\tKnowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and relational database design
\n\tExperience with agile development, test-driven approaches, and version control
\n\tFamiliarity with JIRA and automated testing tools<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tBSc in Computer Science or B-Tech in Information Technology
\n\tFormal Oracle programming training preferred
\n\tStrong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills<\/p>\n
Additional Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tDocument technical and functional specifications
\n\tUse SharePoint for documentation and workflow management
\n\tMentor and review code from junior developers<\/p>\n
Salary:<\/p>\n
\tR60 000 – 70 000<\/p>\n
