\tAir Products South Africa is seeking a skilled and experienced PC & Network Engineer to join our team.
\n\tThe ideal candidate will be responsible for providing all first-line support and service desk services for the Company.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tInstall, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software systems
\n\tTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to PCs, servers, and network infrastructure
\n\tMobile Devices Management & 3G\/VPN Support.
\n\tResponsible for 1st Line Security Support.
\n\tMonitor network performance and security, and implement necessary updates and patches
\n\tCollaborate with internal teams to determine IT requirements and design solutions
\n\tBackup support for Senior Network\/Server Engineers and Service Desk.
\n\tDocument system configurations, procedures, and policies
\n\tStay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in PC and network engineering<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tDiploma in computer science, information technology, or a related field
\n\tProven experience working as a PC & Network Engineer or in a similar role
\n\tStrong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems
\n\tExperience with providing support for Windows OS and MS Office suites, including Office 365
\n\tExperience in administrative support for Windows Server (2008\u20132022), Active Directory, Exchange Online, Telephony and Cisco\/Fortinet Networks
\n\tFamiliarity with network protocols, routing, and security
\n\tExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills
\n\tStrong communication and interpersonal abilities
\n\tAbility to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively<\/p>\n
Preferred Qualifications:<\/p>\n
Certifications in network or systems administration:<\/p>\n
\tA+ \/ N+ Certification is mandatory.
\n\tCertification in MCSE \/ MS ITP is essential.
\n\tITIL Foundation Certification is advantageous.
\n\tExperience working in the manufacturing or industrial sector<\/p>\n
