A key responsibility of the L&amp;D Capabilities Manager will be to support the team as a coach to adopt an agile, high-performance approach that fulfils AZ\u2019s objectives<br \/>\n\tWorks closely with the Commercial Excellence Director and SLT to ensure training needs are aligned with the needs of the sales and non-sales teams across SA &amp; SSA.<br \/>\n\tDelivers leadership enablement training and initiatives.<br \/>\n\tSets objectives, coaches\/mentors, assesses performance and addresses skill development for Sales Managers, their Sales Teams and Key Account Managers.<br \/>\n\tManages resource allocation, training budget, and high-level relationships with external vendors<br \/>\n\tWill conduct coaching training with First Line Sales Managers and conduct selling skills training across the commercial teams.<br \/>\n\tThis role will support the business teams in each country within SA to achieve the organization\u2019s goals.<br \/>\n\tParticipate in the creation of robust coaching &amp; functional plans; track\/report progress against plans aligned with timing of regular business reviews.<\/p>\n<p>Deliver informal and formal learning solutions in a manner that is both engaging and effective<\/p>\n<p>\tManage the learning and coaching environment and prepare for training delivery<br \/>\n\tDemonstrate effective facilitation and presentation techniques that engage learners, create a positive learning environment and build learner motivation<br \/>\n\tEstablish credibility as an instructor and effectively manage challenging behaviour and situations<\/p>\n<p>Evaluate learning solution throughout delivery, adapting the program to Learning and Development Strategy<\/p>\n<p>\tUse consulting skills and build relationships to establish sponsorship and ownership for training agenda<br \/>\n\tCollaborate and work with the team to share ideas, best practices &amp; maximise budgets<br \/>\n\tCommunicate effectively utilizing both written and verbal skills<br \/>\n\tApprove, distribute, and archive intellectual capital ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements<\/p>\n<p>Evaluate performance and training<\/p>\n<p>\tProvide leadership to define and execute the organization\u2019s training strategy aligned to business priorities; implement training projects and activities in close collaboration with cross-functional teams<br \/>\n\tApply a systematic approach to evaluate gaps in performance and impact of training<br \/>\n\tUse a consulting approach to uncover the gaps that require training and development<br \/>\n\tEffectively evaluate the impact of training solutions delivered<br \/>\n\tCoaching of PJPs, MSRs, Brand Managers, KAMs and FLSMs: In-field &amp; Classroom<\/p>\n<p>Skills training: In-field &amp; classroom<\/p>\n<p>If this sounds appealing, please read on to understand the experience and skills we\u2019re looking for\u2026<\/p>\n<p>ESSENTIAL SKILLS &amp; EXPERIENCE REQUIRED<\/p>\n<p>\tCompleted Bachelors degree in Health Sciences, Commerce or equivalent<br \/>\n\t4 &#8211; 5 years\u2019 experience in Commercial Sales Training<br \/>\n\tCoaching and mentoring experience<br \/>\n\tProject management experience<br \/>\n\tOncology disease area knowledge and experience is preferred<br \/>\n\tStrong facilitation and presentation skills<br \/>\n\tFluency in English is required with Excellent communication skills<br \/>\n\tGood planning and organizational skills<br \/>\n\tAbility to develop strategic partnerships<br \/>\n\tGroup presentation skills<br \/>\n\tSelf-confidence<br \/>\n\tCoaching &amp; Feedback \u2013 Leadership skills<br \/>\n\tAbility to travel<br \/>\n\tImpact and influence in a collaborative manner<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( https:\/\/www.astrazeneca.com ) or<\/p>\n<p>careers.astrazeneca.com<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"http:\/\/careers.astrazeneca.com","_company_name":"AstraZeneca","_company_website":"https:\/\/www.astrazeneca.com","_company_tagline":"AstraZeneca is a global, science-led biopharmaceutical company that spans the discovery, development, manufacturing, distribution and worldwide commercialisation of primary care and speciality care medicines.
