Duties (not an exhaustive list)<\/p>\n
\tPlanning and organising various child-based activities and snack requirements
\n\tBudgeting and tracking, invoicing, and purchasing
\n\tAccurate record keeping
\n\tManagement of all aftercare staff
\n\tAct as school’s liason with the parents
\n\tSupervision of children’s homework\u00a0
\n\tEnsuring the safety of the children by checking playground equipment and toys
\n\tEnsuring the children play safely
\n\tCo-ordinating and running the holiday programme
\n\tTaking responsibility for maintaining a clean, tidy, and well-maintained facility
\n\tEnsuring high standards in every aspect of the afternoon supervision
\n\tAttending to children who are unwell or injured<\/p>\n

Required Qualifications and Experience<\/p>\n
\tMatric
\n\tMinimum of 3 – 5 years\u2019 experience in childcare
\n\tMinimum of 3 years of experience as an Aftercare Manager
\n\tCurrent First Aid Certificate would be an advantage
\n\tWorking hours will be from 09h30 \u2013 18h00, Aftercare will run from approximately 13h00 \u2013 18h00 each day.
\n\tThe rest of the time you will spend planning the aftercare programme and supporting the school and your Line Manager in an administrative capacity. Hours and expectations may differ slightly during school holidays.<\/p>\n
