PURPOSE\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tTo ensure that all planned operational targets for deposition of tailings are met as per contractual obligation in time and good quality.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
\tWork with team leader \/ supervisor to achieve planned operational targets.
\n\tPerform inspections on designated area of responsibility every day.
\n\tPlanning and managing of tailings material on site and at depositing areas.
\n\tAssist with the problems solving on operational challenges and report any deviations to the immediate supervisor.
\n\tAdhering to discipline procedures in accordance with the Company\u2019s Policies and Procedures.
\n\tAdhere to all safety rules and regulations as per all safety legislation and company procedures.
\n\tExtension and connecting of pipelines.
\n\tOpening and closing of valves in line with operational lines
\n\tTake responsibility for your performance
\n\tEnsure good housekeeping at all times<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 or Equivalent<\/p>\n
EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\t0 \u2013 2 years relevant experience in an earth moving or familiar environment<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
\tTailings Dam Operation background \/ experience in the mining or related industry for at least 2 years will be advantageous<\/p>\n
SKILLS, QUALITIES AND ABILITIES REQUIRED<\/p>\n
\tGood communication (verbal and written)
\n\tGood planning and organizing
\n\tTeamwork and observant
\n\tInnovation and Actioned-orientated<\/p>\n
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
\tMust be able to understand the relevant standard operating procedures.
\n\tMedically fit to work in a mining environment
\n\tMust pass the mine\u2019s criminal screening process
\n\tMay be required to work overtime from time to time<\/p>\n
