RESPONSIBILITIES AND FINANCE DUTIES
\nACCOUNTING:<\/p>\n
\tAccurate recording and management of financial information for all business units
\n\tMonitoring the controls within the lodges and conducting internal audits
\n\tMaintaining and improving high financial standards
\n\tMeeting finance deadlines
\n\tTraining of staff from various backgrounds and skill levels
\n\tCollation and resolution of general ledger queries
\n\tInterpretation and analysis of management accounts
\n\tHolding monthly finance meetings to discuss financial performance
\n\tCorrect authorization and allocation of business expenditure
\n\tReconciling various accounts including clearing accounts and inter lodge transactions
\n\tMaintaining stock control procedures, assisting with stock counts when required
\n\tDevelop and implement systems and procedures
\n\tOversee and assist in the compiling of budgets
\n\tAssist all staff with Panstrat
\n\tAssist lodge managers\/ Director with queries
\n\tReview and train Front of House systems
\n\tAssisting with year-end audit
\n\tCAPEX \u2013 Tracking the spend on significant capex projects v budgets
\n\tCollation and accuracy of Sustainability Stats, compilation of Sustainability graphs

\n\tBusiness compliance on track and in place \u2013 including liquor license, business license etc
\n\tMaintaining of fixed asset register
\n\tThe Implementation and \/ or maintenance of financial systems, processes and procedures ensuring the accuracy of data as extracted from multiple platforms

\n\tMonitoring the vehicle fleet

Green turtle monitoring project Staff at &Beyond Mnemba Island are involved in a regional tagging programme that monitors the movements of the globally endangered green turtles. Ader\u2019s duiker and suni Breeding projects for the rare Ader\u2019s duiker and endangered suni are being run at &Beyond Mnemba Island, with the population of Ader\u2019s duiker tripling in eight years and more than 250 suni relocated off the island. Rhinos Without Border In 2011 &Beyond embarked on the first ever private game reserve donation of rhino to another country, when we translocated six white rhino from &Beyond Phinda Private Game Reserve in South Africa to Botswana\u2019s Okavango Delta.
