specific &amp;Beyond culture of tolerance across the regions we operate<br \/>\n\tFeedback fit<\/p>\n<p>EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n<p>\tMinimum 4 years\u2019 management experience is essential<br \/>\n\tLuxury lodge and Touring finance experience is an advantage<\/p>\n<p>RESPONSIBILITIES AND FINANCE DUTIES<br \/>\nACCOUNTING:<\/p>\n<p>\tAccurate recording and management of financial information for all business units<br \/>\n\tMonitoring the controls within the lodges and conducting internal audits<br \/>\n\tMaintaining and improving high financial standards<br \/>\n\tMeeting finance deadlines<br \/>\n\tTraining of staff from various backgrounds and skill levels<br \/>\n\tCollation and resolution of general ledger queries<br \/>\n\tInterpretation and analysis of management accounts<br \/>\n\tHolding monthly finance meetings to discuss financial performance<br \/>\n\tCorrect authorization and allocation of business expenditure<br \/>\n\tReconciling various accounts including clearing accounts and inter lodge transactions<br \/>\n\tMaintaining stock control procedures, assisting with stock counts when required<br \/>\n\tDevelop and implement systems and procedures<br \/>\n\tOversee and assist in the compiling of budgets<br \/>\n\tAssist all staff with Panstrat<br \/>\n\tAssist lodge managers\/ Director with queries<br \/>\n\tReview and train Front of House systems<br \/>\n\tAssisting with year-end audit<br \/>\n\tCAPEX \u2013 Tracking the spend on significant capex projects v budgets<br \/>\n\tCollation and accuracy of Sustainability Stats, compilation of Sustainability graphs<br \/>\n\tReconciliation of fuel<br \/>\n\tFlagging problem areas<br \/>\n\tBusiness compliance on track and in place \u2013 including liquor license, business license etc<br \/>\n\tMaintaining of fixed asset register<br \/>\n\tThe Implementation and \/ or maintenance of financial systems, processes and procedures ensuring the accuracy of data as extracted from multiple platforms<br \/>\n\tAnalyzing and tracking the Maintenance spend<br \/>\n\tMonitoring the vehicle fleet<br \/>\n\tBudget\/re-forecasting expenses<\/p>\n<p>Human Capital:<\/p>\n<p>\tLoading of new staff, terminations, earnings, deductions and company contributions.<br \/>\n\tAssist with all UIF claim forms to Department of Labour.<br \/>\n\tPreparing and reconciling all payrolls for sign off by General Manager or Regional manager.<br \/>\n\tPrinting of payslips to be sent to respective lodges<br \/>\n\tMonthly human capital reports<br \/>\n\tQuarterly EE Forum meetings \u2013 minutes and reporting follow-up<br \/>\n\tAnnual reporting<br \/>\n\tEmployment Equity<br \/>\n\tTraining<br \/>\n\tMaintaining employee files<br \/>\n\tDealing with employee queries<br \/>\n\tProjects as identified from time to time<br \/>\n\tStrong commercial and operational focus<br \/>\n\tAble to solve complex problems<br \/>\n\tAbility to work under pressure<br \/>\n\tExperience with human Conservation wins Beginning with the company\u2019s groundbreaking conservation achievements during the restocking of Phinda Private Game Reserve, &Beyond has continued to take part in a number of conservation successes. Gaur translocation in India &Beyond was at the forefront of the ground-breaking mass translocation of 19 gaur (Indian bison) at Bandhavgarh National Park in India, the first successful reversal of a local extinction by means of the mass translocation of wild animals in the country. A decade of leopard research The MunYaWana Leopard Project, a collaboration between &Beyond and Panthera, a USA-based philanthropic association focused on the conservation of the world\u2019s 37 species of wild cats was conducted at &Beyond Phinda Private Game Reserve, resulting in regulations for sustainable leopard trophy hunting and a stricter system of permits for the control of problem animals. Mnemba Island Marine Conservation Area In 2005, &Beyond worked with the Zanzibar Department of Fisheries and members of local Zanzibari fishing communities to form the Mnemba Island Marine Conservation Area (MIMCA). Green turtle monitoring project Staff at &Beyond Mnemba Island are involved in a regional tagging programme that monitors the movements of the globally endangered green turtles. Ader\u2019s duiker and suni Breeding projects for the rare Ader\u2019s duiker and endangered suni are being run at &Beyond Mnemba Island, with the population of Ader\u2019s duiker tripling in eight years and more than 250 suni relocated off the island. Rhinos Without Border In 2011 &Beyond embarked on the first ever private game reserve donation of rhino to another country, when we translocated six white rhino from &Beyond Phinda Private Game Reserve in South Africa to Botswana\u2019s Okavango Delta.
