REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION\/TRAINING<\/p>\n
\tBCom or Bachelor\u2019s degree in Information Technology \/ Computer Science \/ Engineering (IT) or similar
\n\tData Engineering tools (Azure Data Engineer) certification will be an added advantage
\n\tITIL or COBIT certification will be an added advantage<\/p>\n
REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\t2 \u2013 4 years of working experience in an IT environment
\n\tExperience in working on IT enterprise Azure-based data solutions
\n\tExperience with Python and SQL
\n\tExperience in gathering requirements and transitioning them to designs and outcomes
\n\tExperience working in the Agri sector will be an advantage<\/p>\n

\tEnsure the scalability of solutions

\n\tEnsure the managed data (business intelligence) is fit for purpose relative to customer needs
\n\tDesign and develop end-to-end data solutions on the Data platform, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.
\n\tCollaborate with data architects, data analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements, define data models, and implement data integration solutions.
\n\tImplement data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses.
\n\tDevelop and maintain ETL\/ELT processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Azure data platforms.
\n\tDesign and optimise data schemas, tables, and indexes for efficient data storage and retrieval.
\n\tPerform data profiling, data cleansing, and data quality assessments to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
\n\tDevelop and implement data security and privacy measures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., POPIA).
\n\tMonitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, data inconsistencies, and system issues.
\n\tCollaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI\/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployment and release management of data solutions.
\n\tStay up to date with the latest data technologies, trends, and best practices, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.<\/p>\n

\tMicrosoft Azure Data Suite
