Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Reporting to the Supervisor: NOC, the incumbent will:<\/p>\n
\tDirectly team leads the Broadband Infraco NOC shift team.
\n\tGenerate shift incident reports to be sent to the NOC Supervisor.
\n\tProactive surveillance of network alarms and strict adherence to Broadband Infraco fault management process.
\n\tLiaising with Broadband Infraco Maintenance team and 3rd party service providers to ensure speedy resolution of network failures.
\n\tEnsure proper shift handover and proper reporting of incidents.
\n\tAct as the first contact to the NOC Supervisor\/ Manager during shifts.
\n\tKeep the customer informed as to progress on fault resolution during unplanned and planned outages.
\n\tEnsure strict adherence to Broadband Infraco Network Operations processes to safeguard the integrity and availability of the network.
\n\tInvoke escalation process according to Service Level Agreements (SLA) and escalation matrix<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n
\tNational Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Computer Systems Engineering.
\n\t\u00a0The candidate must have equivalent skills and experience on Telecommunication Network)
\n\tCourses in specific products e.g. SDH, DMWM
\n\t\u00a0Experience in the field (approximately 2 years) to understand the inter-connectivity of the various elements of network in the physical layer.
\n\tAbility to explain to Technicians on site required actions and identifications of components at a detailed level.
\n\tExperience in using diagnosed software and understands the IP Network<\/p>\n
